Black Achievers, Inc. will be hosting its Annual Awards Banquet. The primary purpose for the awards event is to honor outstanding individuals and show the community the variety and quality of achievement of African Americans in Western New York. The Black Achievers Awards Banquet provides an opportunity for businesses, civic and religious organizations to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions in their respective career endeavors. It also provides a platform for professional networking, education and entertainment. Over the past 50 years, Black Achievers, Inc. has honored more than 4,500 recipients, with over 1,000 people in attendance each year.

Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Black Achievers Museum, Black Achievers Scholarship, 1490 Estates Senior Housing, the Erma D. Robinson Education Incentive Program and the Willie Hutch Jones Educational & Sports Program.
